In the Denver area - Randy's Speedwrench. I was advised I would have to weight for 3 wks for an appointment. Then I dropped off the bike for some parts add ons and some general service. Called 2 times over 2 months & was told the owner(Randy)& I would have to talk about the job. He would call. NOTHING. Finally I advised them I would be in 2 wks for the bike. This is after 2 months I go in after the 2 wks more & the excuse I get is that he would have to work on all jobs before mine that bought parts at his place. He would have to put me last in line after any jobs that came in & bought from him. Now, buying form the local store is always good. In my case I got parts when living in CA & finally decided to get them put in CO. Did anyone mention that he would continually push me job aside & do others -NO. Did he ever call me to advise their was an issue in his mind - No. And lets remember that i was also getting general repairs & that means some parts from his shop. When I asked why they even bothered to make the appt all I got was excuses. This shop is BAD NEWS. (Message edited by x3rs on October 25, 2011) |

Hey Guys, Just joined this forum last night. I've been looking for the "introduce yourself" area and couldn't find it, then I saw this post!! Wow, Deja Vu! X3rs you must have written this post a couple of weeks after I picked up my M2 from Speedwrench. In April or May of last year I dropped it off for a top end overhaul same story, "Randy will call", "there's a couple more in front of yours", "it will be two weeks", "these three guys with the baggers have spent in the thousands with me so they are first" I heard Randy know his s**t when it comes to Buells but he never got around to mine! Mine sat there for months, stupid me! |

It's good to see that you're on here Buelliedan. I guess I should post an update... Last year after all of the frustration mentioned in my previous post I took my M2 to Thunderbird Motorcycles @ W. 44th & Simms in Wheatridge and the guys (Ryan) took great care of it. They installed T-storm heads w/stage 2 port work by Buelliedan on top of one of his 1250 kits. Along with Andrews cams and an S&S super "e". I have to report that my M2 has immediate throttle response and the power delivery is unbelievable! |
