Oldog. Here's some pics of the vise I made for the lift.
Adjustable fixed jaw I was telling you about last night,1" slots in the plate and 2 sets of holes 1" apart in the lift base with solid plate underneath drilled& tapped for 1 hex key wrench adjustment.
Welded 2 bungs on front uprights for a piece of rod to pass thru for a tire stop, Handy when loading bikes unassisted, also eliminates bashed rotors.
I used 2x3x.120 wall rec.tube, 4 pieces 15 inches long as that's what I had laying around. I cut 1 end on each 35 degrees for a 70 degree angle, clears all rotors and fenders so far.
Also I welded a pin underneath in front and threw together a dolly for wheeling the lift around the shop
