I currently have a 2005 XB12R Firebolt and am very interested in changing my gauge cluster. I have a few questions before I embark in this job.

1. Will it or any of them work with my bike and has anyone tried it?

2. Can I use all the functions of the gauges
-temp internal (engine) and external (amb)
-RPM's, these show much higher revs
-Odometer
-miles per hour
-Fuel gauge
-turn signals

You catch the drift. I hope to hear if anyone has used them or know someone that has. Any pictures? I have posted links to sights for these gauges.

This is the first I've ever heard of it, but it looks pretty cool. I like the fact that you can run all the engine sensor inputs to it. You know, it might be easier to use one of the 1125CR dashboards instead.

I'd be nervous... looks like a 1 size fits all option with a "for XB12" sticker glued to it.

How is the fuel gauge supposed to work? Blind reckoning?

So my guess is that you would pay $300+ to get it, then have to do a boatload of fabrication and back yard engineering, and after that 1/3 of the functions won't work at all, 1/3 will work but be wonky, and the other 1/3 will work.

If it was me, I'd leave the factory guages doing what they do, and spend the $300 and extra time adding on.
