Congrats!!! Welcome to the family. As far as riding tips I've got one suggestion. After the Pirelli's are done (depending on your riding style, @ 3000-5000 miles) Get a set of Mich Pilot Power/Roads. I find that for my riding style (zero track/some highway/some beautiful twisties) they perform very well for the XBs. Go out for a few loooooong rides and develop a feel for the bike's SOUL. These bikes definitely have a life all their own, and once you know how they react to your inputs, they are the best experience on two wheels you will ever know! You can try the Italian flavor (which I feel is the closest replication to Erik's genius), but you will never get close to the feel of the road, and the absolute ease of maneuverability that is BUELL!!! My $.02 Cheers!! |
