Yes, another thread about an 03....

My belt snapped during an extreme braking procedure.
I had some stupid cager pull out in front of me and decide to wait to turn left immediately on a 50Mph two-lane road.
So, hit the brakes, and start downshifting.
Got down to about 15 or so and grabbed first. Back tire bounced a little and shot the belt through back.
Oh well, got the bike back home and pulled it apart to get ready for spare belt.

Noticed my idler pulley seems like it has been rubbing on the outside arm.

idler grind

As well as the little patches of belt that have been showing up on pulley surface.

idler junk

I had checked visually for alignment issues
and it seemed ok, has anyone else noticed anything like this before.
