i am a buell tech at waukon harley davidson n i have a customer who came n with 07XB12X n want to swap to and 08 style crank. he had a parts list off of this website n i was just wondering if ne one has done one n what it all took. i can see it needs a new rotor n stator n regulator. just wondering any issues or other parts that im gonna need |

I've just put a 08 crank in my 07 engine without problems. You also need a new rotor, the screw and a ring to mount the rotor to the crankshaft. The original stator works fine for me. The timing mark on the flywheel is missing, so you need to set the timing by measuring in the sparkplug hole. (Message edited by mvd on May 24, 2011) |
