Managed to remove amateur paint stripe from prev owner on my son's P3. Working on polishing area that was scuffed for paint adhesion. Using orbital polisher with a terry bonnet and first liquid rubbing compound followed by polishing compound got decent results. Mirror like in most areas, actually. But in some spots what looks like large fingerprint ridges have appeared. They are smooth of course but you can see a dull line. There are also ghost images from old decals that won't go away. Any polishing experts have any suggestions? I feel like I'm using the same speed and pressure with the polisher but these surface irregularities got me boggled. Thanks for any ideas Kevin |

I still have the ghost decals on my Blast... I would guess you'd have to go as far as fine-grit sanding and follow up with hours of polishing. It can be done, but it's a pain in the butt. |
