Got a mate with an XB12S and his clutch hub stuffed up , he cant source an XB12 one but the local Harley dealer here Morgan and Wacker told him the XB9 one would do the trick , its a lot shallower and you have to leave a couple of clutch plates out for it to fit , can anyone tell me will this still be ok with the fewer clutch plates , cheers |

I had a look at this clutch hub and I dont think they've even given him an XB9 one its probably a tuber one |

XB 9 and 12 use the same clutch and transmission and related parts. In fact, 99% of the engine is the same. The biggest differences are the primary drive chain ratio, the pistons, and connecting rods. |

yep thanks mate , it appears that the hub he got sold was for a tuber , doesnt work out too bad as I happen to own one so ill buy it off him for a spare and he can get one for the XB , thanks . |
