Hey guys,

I was running down the freeway at about 70mph when everything on the bike cutout.

The speedo stayed pinned at 70mph, but there were no lights, turn signals or any engine movement. It started back up after about 5 minutes off it started back up without a hitch.

The battery is brand new and connections are tight even though that wouldn't cause the bike to cut out while running.

This has only happened once, but I'd rather find a common denominator and test it before relying on it again.

On the M2's there is a main circuit breaker that will pretty much dump everything if it trips and will reset after it cools a bit. It would be somewhere close to the battery. I don't have anything on the Blasts. This is just one idea. If it does trip this, it is either a big short to ground or a weak breaker. Then again you did say it only happened once. Good luck and keep us posted.

My friends Electra was doing the same thing and indeed it was the main circuit breaker. I would check that first -

Any idea what that circuit breaker is called? the Buell Parts book I have doesn't list a "Main circuit breaker"

As for a M2 go from the batt. (+) to the starter to the MASTER CIRCUIT. That is it in my book. Hope this helps.
