I recently changed my gearing. from 29 front tooth pulley to 27 and rear from 55 to 61. Before the change I was doing 100kmh(60mph) at 2500 rpm, after the change im still doing the same rpm and speed but seems slower, I was wondering if the speed is still accurate. |

You are correct, you are going slower. You changed the final drive from .527/1 to .442/1 The front pulley has to turn more than twice to make the rear go around once. Stock it was less than twice. Effectively, you reduced the final gear ratio. Lower top speed, more grunt on the bottom. Brad Brad |
