hello everyone just want to know if fram oil filter is ok to use and what oil to use is mobil good oil?? |

The fram filters are cheaply put together i think ,but everyone has different taste and preference! I use a K&N-177 oil filter and used 20W50 Putoline super DX4 with good result and now Bel-ray 20W50 for the engine and 80W90 for transmission. Mobil is also a good oil ,but i have no experience with it! There are a lot of people here that use Amsoil or castrol in there bikes But again different people different preferences! Do a search on here http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/sear ch.cgi ,because there is enough info about which is the best oil for what bike! Good luck and a happy oil change! |

i thought bel-ray 80w90 was now designed for wet clutch applications and trans gearing only.... uh oh. |

the 20w50 i use is from Bel-ray and the 80w90 is a normal gear oil from mobile. |
