My beloved 06 Ulysses with 42k miles is reminding me of it's bipolar personality. When I first turn the key all the indications are normal except the fuel pump continues to run.The pump seems to fluctuate in pitch as if it's working too hard. Two questions.First after the bike is running does the fuel pump run continuously? and if so can I "ignore" this problem and ride like usual. If not would the problem be an ecm problem or is there a pressure sensor of some sort that might have failed? As in the past all suggestions are appreciated. Barry I had overlooked the fuel pump post with the very detailed repair procedure( sorry) I think I'll tackle this problem next weekend (Message edited by motobear46 on October 31, 2010) |
