Does anyone have any information, thoughts, opinions, or insight on the oracle halo kit headlights for the lightning model buells? http://www.automotivelightstore.com/buellxb12sorac lehalokit.aspx |

Are there any newer (06 XB12X) lighting options? That will work in current headlight location? Bulbs, LED's, anything. Stock ones are less than ideal. Thanks |

The DDM HID kits are cheap and effective, though if I were to do mine again, I would use one of the newer LED replacement bulb setups. I get a little nervous about the cooling fan they have grafted on them, both in terms of mounting and duarbility, but they probably aren't any less reliable or hard to mount than a HID ballast and they don't suffer from dropout problems when you crank over the motor. |

Thanks, are the LED bulbs brighter? Is there any change in the pattern the lights put on the road, or is that determined by the light reflector? Who sells the LED's that fit the Uly lights? |

Found the LED's on Oracles site. The fans do look they make it a little long for mounting. I ordered a set so will see. I like the fact that you can adjust the beam pattern, or so they say. |
