I have a 2000 buell blastard, I just replaced the drivebelt and the new one wants to ride on the outside of the rear pulley. This is causing premature wear of the drivebelt. I need the drivebelt to be lined up on the pulley better. The drivebelt has worn the pulley mirrored smooth so I think the tension is causing the belt to work its way off the pulley and towards the swing arm. Aside from being smooth I don't think the pulley shows any real wear. Any suggestions? Thanks folks! |
