hello iam ready for new brakes on my xb9r is it hard to do?????? do i need to take off the caliper????? if so what size is the hex head please help me Donald seagraves |

Its not hard at all. Just center the caliper between two spokes. Loosen the pin but do not remove. Loosen top bolt and remove bottom bolt. You will need a 5/16" for the caliper bolts and 3/16" for the pin. I put masking tape on the spokes and around the hub to prevent chipping the finish. When installing torque bolts to 35-37 ft-lbs and pin to 11-15 ft-lbs. (Message edited by terrys1980 on August 03, 2010) |
