Hey all, I am in the process of painting my M2. I am sealing the tank.. What is a good aerosol paint to use? I can get PPG put into a can for $22 a can at the auto supply, which is a little pricey. I would like to do a a Matte black but am open to different colors. What are good aerosol primer, base coat and clear? Thanks, Frank R. |

If $22 is too pricey for you, look at my profile picture. "Fusion" satin black in a rattle can. Looks much better than I expected. I repaint mine every year so I am not concerned with bubbling - it usually takes longer than that. But I may leave this on to see how long it holds up. Kilroy |

Hey, Thanks for the post! Let me clarify, I do not think $22 a can is too pricey..Not if it is worth it. I am just asking advice from those who have tried and know what works the best. If there is an option that works as well for less, I'm in.. If not, $22 a can is fine with me! I am looking for advice on primer, base and clear. Thanks. |
