Author Message   Splatsc300 Posted on Sunday, July 11, 2010 - 09:51 pm:        Hey guys I have a 2005 XB12R, had a weird noise develop today. When bike is on its kick stand I have a knocking noise at idle and when I give it throttle. BUT, as soon as I sit on the bike sound goes away. It seems to be coming from front top of engine near triple clamp. I took everything I could off the top and couldn't find anything loose.. You guys have any ideas or seen anything like this, I did a couple searches and came up empty.   Akbuell Posted on Friday, July 16, 2010 - 09:04 am:        Check your front motor mount and front isolator. If all is well there..... Check your primary chain for proper adjustment. You may have to remove the primary cover and check the tightness of the stator and clutch hub nuts. Hope this helps, Dave
