i have seen a few ideas, and just trying to find the right one to put bar end mirrors on while keeping the hand guards for my 09 cityx. i saw some crg's with hand guards that looked like they were clamped on the end cap the hand guard clips to. but the picture was not clear. any ideas? |

Nah, it's too simple for instructions. You just replace the single bolt that operates the mirror adapter wedge with a longer bolt that has a washer, then spacer, then another washer. That creates the nub for the hand guard to snap onto. |

Very informative! I was wondering about that myself for my 2005 city cross, but would hate to take off those handlebar covers! Definitely in my near future! |

IMHO if you are going to buy bar end mirrors, you might want to consider the CRG Lane Splitters. They have a hinge mount that allows the mirror to fold, rather than a solid stem that may break off if encountering another object. I had solid stem mounted mirrors for about a week. I split lanes in the wonderful So. Cal freeway traffic and snapped one off. I bought a pair of lane splitters and they have paid for themselves 4 times over. |
