Dose any one know if there Is a recess in the head on the xb1200 heads to allow room for the piston or is it flat with a small notch for the combustion chamber also do buell heads have the buell name cast onto the top of them or HD name |

The XB9/12 and 04+XL1200 heads are all bathtub chambers with a flat squish area. None have any markings that I can recall, except for the Screamin' Eagle version that comes already decked .050" for 10.5:1 compression which wear a Screamin' Eagle badge. Some have them milled for use with angled dome pistons for higher compression and theoretically better cylinder fill. |

The '99 model M2 I am working on currently has Buell cast into them on the underside. |
