While on the way to work yesterday I passed a asian kid, no helmet, jacket or gloves just a t-shirt and jeans holding up traffic in the slow lane. He looked like he was driving one handed with the left hand on the tank kind of moving from side to side in his lane. Not fast moves, just kind of drifting left and right. As I pass him I see he has his cell phone attached to a mount on his triple clamp. He texting as he's going down the road at 60 MPH! He's not going to last long.... | ||

>>>>He's not going to last long.... I've been collecting a series of great photos . . . shot with the 70-200mm VR . . . of the things folks do while driving. Well aware that taking photos is right up there . . . I think I'm going to quit simply as a result of the fear I have after seeing some of these folks. The best one was the real estate gal (guess on my part) the other day on the Sprainbrook Parkway. I see a MB ML350 weaving to and fro . . into the grass shoulder, back toward the middle. . . she's slow up and then take off as though she had to catch up. I finally got abreast (I always enjoy using that phrase) of her and saw her with a highlighter in her mouth, holding two documents side by side as she (appeared to be) compared them all while balancing the cell phone between her cheek and shoulder. He and the "Tank Bag Texter" may be roomies in the afterlife. |
