Okay, please forgive me cuz I know this has probably been detailed before elsewhere. I have just received my cable, checked my static timing, saved stock eeprom and maps (do you have to save front and rear, fuel and timing, all individually? or not. Did I just save the same map file 4 times with different names by doing that?)I reset TPS and made sure the "log in megalog format" setting was enabled, then headed out for a datalog ride. When I returned I had no log file anywhere. Dont even see a "megalog" folder within the ecmspy folder. Do I need to create that folder myself or should the program do so automatically? I have the computer setup to show all hidden files and folders. Thanks ahead of time for any help. |

Tried creating my own Megalog folder in the ECM Spy folder and revisited the folder options and made sure the "show hidden files and folders" radio button was indeed checked. I also checked the button that makes the operating system's hidden folders show up. (OS is Windows 7 Starter BTW, not sure if that is of any consequence for this particular problem) Tried logging again just idling in garage. The software seems to be working fine, shows real-time info on the screen that shows the gagues and also the screen that gives all the info for enrichments and all that. Just doesn't seem to want to give me a log file. I'm so excited to get this thing running better with my modded pipe. This is very frustrating. Please help. |

Nevermind, figured it out. When in the ECMspy folder, had to hit "Compatability Files" button up above the list of contents. that makes the megalog folder show up. |
