A friend asked me about a red V lit up on the right side of the IC. I have a 1125 and I"m not familiar with them.

Any help appreciated.

It is a V-twin engine icon, its the check engine light. Have your friend read the owners manual and get familar with his bike.

Thanks Froggy. He's a mechanic but doesn't have any experience with XB's. Bike just got dropped off for him to look at.

I don't think there's a manual with it.

Anything I could tell him to try. Does the XB IC have mode/toggle buttons like the 1125?

I follow some of your posts on the 1125 board. Good stuff.

No, the XB's require you pull codes the old fashioned way. You can use ECMspy to view them, or you can follow these instructions.
