This area doesnt seem to get checked often so I posted this in the XB section as well: I just installed the crossroads -7 degree handlebars on my bike and my throttle is sticking when the bars are cranked fully left. I know that this has been in a problem with many people because I have seen a couple of threads using the search for crossroads. They are all older threads though (05-07) and none come to a conclusion on this problem. I tried doing a better search but for some reason when I search with multiple words it boots me out. Anyways I know that it is a routing issue and I have spent about 3 hours trying to get the routing correct. Does anyone know a solution or have a link to a thread on this? Any help would be great. Like you said it probably is a routing issue. If you can't reroute it in a way that doesn't bind and lock the throttle, you will need to replace the cable with one that is either shorter or longer. I believe the Firebolt cables are what you want. |
