Hey all- I've got this over in the XB section as well, but no help yet... I'm in the middle of rebuilding a set of 2004 9sl forks for my fiance's Lightning. I have a 2003 Lightning manual and there is no info specific to the low model. First question: Type E fork oil(that's what is stock, right?)- I read conflicting info out there...is it 5w or 10w?? Second question: How much oil to put into the low" model forks? Standard calls for 8 oz or 4.57 inches from the top....can I use the same measurement from the top? Or is there different amounts and measurements out there that are "official" for the low models? Thanks in advance for your help! |
