I have a CA bike with that stupid charcoal canister on it. I'd like to take it off without modifying the hoses. I found a part number through a search for the part, but when I look up the part on a Harley web site, I get several options. Anyone know which one I need to eliminate the canister and eliminate/properly terminate the hoses? this is what I found: HS0020.02A8 this is what comes up when I search for it on a Harley site: HS0020.02A8 HOSE ASSEMBLY, FUEL VENT Retail Price:$8.60 HS0020.02A8A HOSE ASY, FUEL VENT Retail Price:$9.85 HS0020.02A8B HOSE ASSY, FUEL VENT Retail Price:$9.85 HS0020.02A8C HOSE ASSY, FUEL VENT Retail Price:$14.70 I know I can just plug the existing hose and leave it hanging or let the fuel just drip down the inside of the frame, but for $15, I may as well not half-ass it and get the right part. oh yeah, this is for an 09 xb12. I know that's a part for an 04...that's all I can find. (Message edited by blarg on April 09, 2010) |
