I never had a problem with this before, but I dropped my XB12Ss at a stoplight today. There was no hoping that nobody saw it... EVERYBODY saw it. It was at lunch time, at a fairly busy intersection, and I was between two cars when it happened. Because I have a 30 inch inseam, the XB12Ss is a bit tall for me when standing still, but I wouldn't want to trade that STT suspension in, so I make do with the taller bike. Because of the bike's height, I tend to lean it to the left a bit and put my left foot flat on the ground when stopped. However, for whatever reason, today the bike wanted to lean to the right, and I just didn't get my foot down quick enough. Down she goes! I smashed my right mirror, and put some small scratches on the bar end weight, but nothing major. I dusted myself off, checked the bike over, and was on my way. It was a very humbling experience. |

Sorry, Man. You joined a 'large' group, I'm sure. Glad you were okay. |

Did you have your bars straight when the bike stopped? |
