When I’m driving the engine sounds as if it’s pulsing. That’s the best I can describe it. I don’t notice any power loss any thoughts. |

Learn how to better describe the "pulsing"? Seriously, at what rpm, and at what frequency is the "pulsing" occurring? The v-twin does produce a nice rythmic thrum. |

If you have two things making noise at two regular frequencies, you will magically get a "beat frequency" that is the difference of the two. So if you had a 5000 Hz tone (like a beep) and a 6000 Hz tone (like a beep, but higher pitched), you will *also* get another 1000 Hz tone (which is a fairly low tone). That can throw people off. I can take two high pitched noises, and make a low pitch noise out of it. |

Everytime I ride my XB into the parkade of my high-rise condo I get a pulsing resonance that threatens to deafen me. It's my helmet reacting to the exhaust! |
