I have my motor apart since I had a base gasket leak and in the process of replacing the gasket I thought I'd set my squish. Seem that from the factory my bike came with a .050 head gasket and a .020 base. With the stock gaskets I'm getting .055 squish. So it thats correct I can only take out .020 to get the desired .035, is this correct? What have other people had for measurements on their stock motors? |

that sounds correct except most stock head gaskets are actually a .045 in my experience |
