I was excited to get a good price on a new Deluxe Tank Bag for my new Scg, (that I pick up this friday). I got it home to take a good look and noticed that the whole 'lid' or map pocket is as crooked as can be. Assuming that single strap would come down the rear center of the airbox cover, (call that 6:00), the rear center of the map pocket is at 7:00 or maybe a little worse. Has anyone else seen this, or do you think I just got a fluke? | ||

By the way, as that was my first post, I guess I could have at least introduced myself. I'm Allan, live in Saint Louis, MO and pick up my first Buell on Friday. It's a new 09 XB12Scg. Built as a Cherry Bomb Red, but it should be Hero Translucent Blue by the time I get home to get it  Thanks for all the valuable information I've spent the last week gaining from this website. | ||

The tank bag I picked up a few months ago is for a Firebolt - I think. I plan to retrofit it for my X1. The Map pouch on it is held in place with velcro, is yours? Without a picture to look at it's hard to see what you are talking about. | ||

Thanks DD. It does have velcro, and three little plastic twist lock deals on it. I'll post up some pictures of it on Monday. I left it down in FL, but I'm home in St. Louis for the weekend. |
