I am a newbie rider and Buell XB9 owner. I am a large guy with wide shoulders and all I see from my mirrors are my shoulder. I have to turn my head to see what is behind on in the lanes next to me. I need about two inches more length on the mirror mounts and I think I could see what is around me. I know about bar end mirrors and but that wold be a last option for me. Are there companies that make mirror risers and or extensions for the XB9S (2003) |

Whitehorsepress sells antivibration mirror risers intended for the KLR650 that raise the mirror about an inch and reduce vibrations. You can also get the Tuono mirrors from American Sport Bike, they are wider, provide a better field of view, and reduce vibrations also. |
