I've read in several posts that the 2000 M2 Cyclone ignition and start relays can be found at any automotive parts stores. I've been to three different auto parts stores and they can't cross the number in their computer system. One guy took the time to break out a book with pictures and found something that looked like it might be similar. When he pulled the part the connection tabs weren't the right size.

The numbers written on top of my relays are:
31522-00, S7172, 1639 A

Does anybody have a good set of numbers for an automotive replacement I can use at a parts store? Thanks.

OK, finally got two new relays. That is why my bike would not start and was hit or miss start for awhile. Runs better, warms up quicker, and it now starts.

Auto Parts store (took me five different ones)
RELAY - Duralast Part#19389, $8.99 each

I thought that a relay would make it start or not start. I didn't know it made a difference with how it ran!

Panasonic CM1-D-12V. Costs only around $4 on line.

Jim, thanks, I knew that someone had the Duralast # in their profile. Looked it up on the AZ website and did not come up with any relay. I ended up ordering a 5 Pak of the Panasonics from Amazon for $25 + $4 S&H. I had starting issues after over washing the bike recently, pulled the relays out and they looked fairly aged, thought it would be got to have some spares.
