2009 Uly, 3,135 miles.
Last rode about 85 miles, reaching operating temp, with no noise, no oil light. Oil level checked OK when shut down.
Five days later, after trailering cross-country (~1,300 miles), I start it and it sounds like lifters aren't fully pumped up. No oil light.
Shut it off, think about the warranty. Restart, remaining at idle, and noise gradually goes away. Ride rest of day (~90 miles), checking oil when hot, level is normal. Problem never returns.

Is it possible the continual jarring of the trailer ride caused my lifters to bleed down?
