curious if anyone has removed the reflectors on XB forks and how. are they just glued in place or are they fastened some other way? |

Double sided tape. Run some dental floss underneath the reflector to dislodge it from the fork. Some WD-40 should clean up the residue. |

Application of gentle heat will cause adhesive flow which makes removal and install of foam taped items easier. A hair dryer works like a charm in doing this as well as removal and install of foam taped wheel weights. |

Just twist and pull. They come off easy. I tend to think the fork finish is better off w/o them there. To address Bombadier's safety concerns, you could always get scotchlite-type reflective tape (it even comes in black) to put elsewhere than on your forks - maybe on mudguard, for example. I'll bet a guy could get pretty creative with that stuff, and find a cool way to integrate it into the bike's lines. |

I got some nice red relfective wheel tape for my Uly. Simple little device to install also. |
