Does anyone know off the top of their head, the forktube bore size in mm for the triple trees on a Ulysses. I know the male slider leg OD increased on the new ones, but the trees and OD of the upper legs are the same. I need that measurement in mm. I would also like to know the official center of axle to top of fork tube measurment if anyone knows that. Thanks in advance to anyone who knows this. -Chadley |

Well... right now, I'm selling off a brand new set of Uly forks and rear shock, in order to gather up some money to help me purchase a new Ohlins rear shock for this. The measurement of the upper fork tube OD has been asked by a potential buyer. I'm waiting for my obsession with this new to me airhead Beemer to die down... it's taking a while! On the Buell front, I still have my Uly which is doing awesome, and have some future plans for a re-awakening of FlyHo in all her glory. Good to hear from you, Blake !

I don't have the measurement with me, but if you are talking about the OD (outside diameter) of the fork tubes (not the sliders), they are all the same on the Ulysses. The sliders increased in size for 08, but the tubes still mount in the same size hole. See my post under "Tighter turning Uly" in this forum. |
