while riding the other day i pulled over and stopped, cut the bike off for 3-4 minutes, went to turn the key back on and nothing, no power at all. I have checked all fuses and can't seem to find the problem. I have used a test light on the ignition switch and have power to the switch until i turn the key then power goes dead. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had a similar issue not long ago and turned out be the Ignition Switch.
This may not be your problem but it’s an idea....

I had the same problem and it was the key switch.

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key on and go out when you turn the kill switch to "stop"? If not, there may be a bad connection at the push-on connector located near the starter where the power from the voltage regulator joins the wiring harness. My '99 S3T had this issue; the wire is a heavy gauge (about 10 AWG) single conductor with a bullet type push-in connection. It's near the drive belt and the oil pump. Vibration can cause it to disconnect if it wasn't fully seated. When disconnected, you will have speedometer light at the "acc" position of the key and tachometer light at the "on" position, but no check engine light regardless of the kill switch's position. It can be reached without removing the cam cover, but it's a tight fit around the oil hoses.
