I recently switched back to a leather jacket (Buell Avolation) from a stint with a textile/mesh HD jacket. Because of this I looked into shirts that would keep me cool under it even in high temps/humidity. I found this in the Buell performance shirts, exceptionally cool and un-noticable under a medium wt jacket. I would guess there are cheaper options than the BMC shirts but I wish I had 1 for every day of the week. They retail at $55 [redacted]. If you ride with a leather year round, look into it. Sorry Blake, it never even occurred to me...won't happen again. |

try searching for antimicrobial microfiber t shirts, and I would wager you will find some for less than the Buell. But then again, they don't say "Buell" on them |

Silk, long sleeved are very comfortable. |

Yeah - silk is very good. Companies are also making incredibly nice stuff out of bamboo. It's really soft, breathable and apparently has a certain amount of natural antimicrobial properties. |

Under Armor makes a nice under shirt that absorbs and keeps you cool as well. I wear them when I referee football. |

wow I must be one of the few low tec guys here, I just wear a tank top under a plain old white t-shirt. you know the ones that come in bags. cotton breathes nicely and pulls moisture away fairly well. its the best when you have vents to open up or a perforated leather. |

Low-tech, hmmm. More likely only a LOT less neurotic than me. Just the thought of putting on a seatbelt makes me cringe! |
