My 99 S3, would only Idle when cold when it stared warming up it would shut off. I tried resetting the TPS with ecmspy I could not get it close to 4.6 degrees before I run out of adjustment? I thing maybe the TPS switch is bad?

Switch?

There seems to be a lot of confusion about the TPS (throttle position sensor) and the procedure required for a "TPS Reset". If you can describe carefully the procedure that you are following, we may find an error.

Sorry sensor,I tried following ecm spy instructions select Gauges screen and connect to ECM adjusted to 0 plus a little more than it says select the functions tab on ecm spy I could not find anything that says functions tab so I selected diagnostic and punch in select TPS Reset I can change the AFV which reads 100% but cannot do anything with TPS so I went back to gauges screen and from there started from 0 but would only go to about 2 or so and ran out of adjustment?
