It would come on for a minute, go out, then come back on a while later. The oil is good. Not sure if fan was running, but came on after shut down. I've not ridden since. The bike has 5000 miles on it and is running fine. My bike was noticably louder at low speeds but sounded fine on the highway... Turned out my exhaust valve got stuck open and threw the code... When i brought it to the shop the light was out and all has been fine since. (happened 2-3 months ago) Not sure if its the same but something to listen for.
