Someone had posted this a while back and it worked for me... Use a pad like Scotchbrite or similar texture and polish up the headers. Mine looked almost brand new after a good rub. | ||

There is a place in St. Paul, MN that does electro polishing. It's called AAA Finishing. They do an AWESOME job on stainless. The do this for food and medical grade equipment. The shop manager's name is Raul, he said he'd do my race header for $110. Shipping would be extra. I will call him next week and see if everyone can get that price. For that amount, it's not hardly worth the sweat, time and Scotch Brite pads. On top of that, the electropolishing gets in places that you can't. Brad | ||

I tried to get my 08 header electropolished. They wouldn't do it, said it had to be stainless. | ||

Sorry, I should have mentioned that part. I kind of assumed it was common knowledge. I thought all of the headers were SS with a few exception back in 1998-1999 (the M2's) |
