I put on Lyndal Golds on my 2007 Ulysess and don't have 500 miles on them yet and I really no sure about them. I like the bite I get off the stock pads and the Lyndal's progression of the brake lever I am not crazy about. Can someone out there recommend the next best pads besides "stock" that won't leave uneven residue and create pulsation every 7,500 miles? I had thought about when they start to pulsate, put the Lyndals on for about 1,000 miles to remove the uneven residue and put new aftermarket pads. Usually they start to pulsate at the tail end of the pad life anyways. Any input on this will be of great help Buell riders. |

EBC brake pads work really well, they also have the initial bite you are looking for. Front pads FA345HH, rear pads FA140HH. |

Would anyone be able to recommend a new rotor as well. I am also looking to remedy the quick nose dive effect of my uly under hard braking. any suggestions? |

How about AL at American Sport Bike or any of the other Sponsors. |

Phil: If your Buell is diving too much then buy a pair of Progressive Suspension fork springs for your scoot. All springs loose tension over time and will eventually need replacement. All my Harleys and Beemers needed stiffer then stock front springs to prevent excessive diving under front braking. KK |

Phil, first thing I would try is increasing the fork compression damping a little at a time and observing the results of each change. If the adjuster maxes out at Firm with no appreciable effect on countering dive, then I'd try heavier fork oil. |
