Just finished reading the "Lube" section in the Knowledge Vault. Being new to Buells I'm ignorant on the oil level check procedure(s) I've been reading. I just ordered a Service Manual but it hasn't arrived yet. I checked the dipstick on the M2 this morning & it was just barely on the dipstick after sitting overnight. What is the correct procedure to check the oil on a 2000 M2? revperry |

Check the oil after a ride to warm it up. Hold the bike level and check the oil. It's not recommended to check the oil cold. |

Thats with the engine off after it is warm, bike held level. Level should be at the lower range of the dipstick. |
