hi guys i love my buell blast its a 01 but it acts funny it will ride fine for about a mile or so then die i dont know it stops firing i cant get it to spark but if i wait over night it will start running fine and fire please help i dont wanna sale my bike thanx guys |

Does it have an enrichener knob for starting? If so, what happens if you pull that knob to try to keep it running when it starts to stall? If that doesn't apply (I'm not sure about the Blast starting procedure in case it has an automatic choke), then try opening the fuel filler cap when it starts dying. The theory is that the tank vent might be plugged or otherwise inoperative, and opening the cap will let in air to keep the tank from forming a partial vacuum which can stop the flow of fuel into the carb and cause your symptom of dying after a while of running. |

hey its not fuel its the spark after afew miles it wont send a spark to the plug i dont know if its a fuseable link that opens up when its hot or something else its gets fuel thats no problem it just stops sending a spark and its getting under my skin thnx tho |

See if you get spark out of the coil. If so, then you need a new plug wire. My bet is on the wire. |
