I need help. Coming home from work today, my 02 Cyclone starts idling at 3k rpm at a stoplight. I got off the main road, and as I start to decelerate to stop, I get a lot of popping from the exhaust. When I pulled the clutch, the bike died. As I slowed down, I popped the clutch and the bike started right back up and had no problems the rest of the way home (~20 miles). When I killed the run switch, the bike shuddered and kept running for a second or two (never done before). I let it sit for a minute, then restarted it, and no problems. I've found a couple of threads in the KV with similar situations, but nothing that mentions all of these together. I just had the CV 40 carb rejetted about a month ago (no problems so far). I have a forcewinder intake, scorpion exhaust, and that's about it for perf. mods. The tank was full minus maybe 20 miles. Any thoughts? |
