Help! I just did re-route on XB12Ss, used Ejiii's setup http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/115730.html?1116461979 with the breather inside, under the airbox tucked in with the hoses (thanks!) - BUT - Now the bike skips and misses lots worse than the slight unevenness I had at low speeds before. I've taken it out on two smooth highway-type rides 1/2 hr. each so far, thinking it needed to adjust to good, fresh air only, but this didn't change anything - in fact, near the end of today's ride, coming back into town, I even got a little worried that it would just sputter to a stop... I must have messed up some other system. Any ideas? Sorry no pic's, until I tear her back open to fix. I've spent way too much time looking for this issue in the archives... any thoughts would help: I'll check for pinched lines, I'll move things around, I'll just go back to the stock which was fine except it's a little jerky-feeling at low speeds, and I thought this mod would smooth it out.

Still Help!
I opened the airbox back up today, checked for pinched lines, loose stuff, etc - even re-located the breather filter back farther, between the oil filler cap and the rear shock. Again, another good ride to settle it in, but the bike is still as uneven through town in low gears as it was pre-mod; and coming into town after a highway-type ride, in the 2500-3000 rpm range, slowing down, I am still getting the engine sputter/skip. It goes away as soon as I open back up the throttle, but pre-breather mod, this never happened. Man, I was so psyched to do this mod to smooth out the low-speed ride, but it just doesn't seem to be at all what you all have described. What else could be off, before I just abandon ship and go back to stock?

I tried the link and it didn't work. What do you mean by the "breather inside"?

I rerouted my 06 by, connecting the two pcv lines with a T, running the 3/8 fuel line to the swing arm, attached another T, connect little k&N filter and run 6" line behind heel guard with a cap on the end of line.

Had no problem and got rid of stumble/hesitation.

Sam,
The link has a space half way through it where the 327 77 copy and paste the whole link and then delete the link then delete the space from between them.
Fahren,
I also did this mod, I had noticed some pop-ing and uneven running but I am unsure if I fouled the plugs or what. I came to Utah and did the mod over the winter without much riding before at this elevation. I ran my hose down the front by the left side air scoop, put a T, ran the breather back by the swingarm, and ran a radiator p-cot down in the nose cowling so I had a drain of some sort. Works pretty slick.
Anyhow all previous riding last summer was at sea level, I did not ride a lot here before doing the mod, but I cannot imagine opening the airbox would caused the engine to run more roughly. I'm not way experienced but I would recommend checking your plugs. It seems like mine get fouled out every couple thousand miles. It could just be that something else happened by chance when in the time you were doing this... just a thought or 2

Update:
I work on my bike outside, and the rain HAS NOT STOPPED!!! So no work on the bike recently : (
But I now have o2 sensor issue (check engine code 13), so I am going to do diagnostics on that. All coincides w/ 10K fluid changes; pulling plugs; giving the bike a good, thorough going-over. Meanwhile, riding the Blast, which is always fun, too.

I had my airbox off the other day, and noticed my O2 wire was routed funny. It was close to being cut by the heat reflective loom on the wire. I had to change the position of the connector a little to cure it. Make sure you did'nt disturb the wire when you had the air box off.
