Rebuilding an 88"- nikasil axtell cylinders, worked over and flowed xb heads, mikuni 45. probably 10.5 compression, used for a lot of street miles and some draging, of course looking for max usable horsepower, what are your recommendations? also possibly looking for a crank/flywheels |

well 10.5 comp. is goin to limit ur cam choice. 585 redshifts are good. but i dont have any personal experience. but ive drove a bike with them. it had a little more comp then that. i think static comp was rate around 10.7. if u bumped the compression up to say 11.0 id go with the 643's redshifts. bad ass cam. period. that all about goin fast. and they work for a street bike. just gotta plan for them. now the 585's that were in the bike was a 1250cc. the 643s we in a 96inch. but they work great for 88's theres woods cams but they are really hard on ur valve train. so stay away if u dont want to deal withthat. |

You need to check with the person that set your heads up as to the size cam you can install before you encounter coil bind. |

Hi. I had to thinking that I put a supercharger in my motorcycle Buell XB12S -04. What compression ratio you used? Where do you bought pistons? regards Mikael from Finland |
