Someone help a brotha out.. I am tearing down my forks for powdercoating and Spidy and I are both stuck on how they come apart. We have the bike completely dissassembled, and the forks are off the bike... We tried to take the outer tube off, but we can't figure it out.. there is an allen bolt on the bottom of the fork (in the axel hole) but that did NOTHING!! anyone have assembly drawings or some help on this one... Thanks, Adam |

Pretty good description of the process here... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/249047.html These videos are good at showing the basic process though these are dirt forks with some differences in the internals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2G-b66F3es&feature =PlayList&p=BFD04985D377C9BA&playnext=1&index=54 |
