so i have this x1.......ive got a set of american air cooled 3.75" bore cylinders. my question is....can i slap these jugs (once i get cases bored of course) onto my motor with the right pistons and keep everything else stock. im pretty sure its possible but my power gain will not be exploited correct?

also the injection issue has been hashed and hashed and ive read and read.......what are they using on the xbrr bikes for injection and ecm? they are a 1340cc or somethin like that and they make what 120hp? how are they fueling that bike?

The AAC cylinders did have porosity issues. I had mine coated(inside and out) that cured mine. I also had them re-lined once.
7.737? I am sure you mean 3.737. What are you using to measure? Are they used?

A hosing may have possibly occurred...Without all the details, it is hard to tell.

ya 3.737, nobody makes pistons for them, ant the only company that could help was cp, but for two slugs for an 84" which the stock stroke would make it, they are 630 bucks!!!!!!!

That's because you are actually buying 4. They won't do just 2.

Are you measuring with torque plates? Dial bore guage?

630 is the price for two, 940 is the price for 4. not complaining, just not cost effective for my build. i could buy a whole zippers or axtell kit for that!!!

i guess i spoke with you on the phone today huh....i bought them off of ebay and thats what the description said the finished bore was, 3.737. i guess ill wait until i get them, but anyways as much searching as i did today i know what they make and what they dont. the make 3 5/8, then 3 16/16, nothin in between. i bought bastard cylinders and now i gotta make somethin work.

im looking into getting them stripped, bored to 3- 13/16, then re nikasil plated. i hope someone can tell me if there is enough meat on these cylinders to do this.

cycle rama is my only hope for having something on the shelf tomorrow.

i for sure will be the only 84" X1 in the country!!!!

I don't think you spoke wth me.

I think the measurement may be a mistake. I doubt torque plates will make over.125 difference, but something is off.
