ok i was fooling arround on private property doing some stoppies and well one felt off so i let off the brake like an idiot instead of riding it out, anyways my rear tire stepped out while in the air and when it came down it caught and sent me into a somewhat violent highside. the gear did its job just some bruises but im trying to get her running again. biggest thing that worries me is that when i turn the key on there is no fuel pump prime and it wont crank? what should i be looking for after a wreck? damage was all on the left side. thanks |

That sucks man. I suggest you check out the bank angle sensor if you're riding an XB. If you're on a "shadow vlx dlx", as your profile says, I could only guess it may have something similar. Some kind of electrical shut off switch for when the bike is dumped. Do you have a wiring diagram or shop manual? |

sounds like a ground issue. the ground for that pump is on the right side seat cowl/subframe i know when i had mine off for some work i tried to crank mine up for a friend and it wouldnt bc of the fuel ground off so make sure its tight and didnt wiggle loose with the impact |
