Author Message   Buell_bert Posted on Monday, February 02, 2009 - 05:08 pm:        I want get a cam cover (aluminum) so I can polish it up and swap it out on my 2001 Buell M2. What years will work and can I use a Sporty cover??? I think I remember something about changes in 98-99 or whatever. So the ultimate question is what will fit with out any problem or modification. You'd need one from mid-99 and up. I made the mistake of installing a "91-03" cam cover gasket on my 01, and my top end didn't like the fact that it wasn't getting enough oil.
