I had my bike taken to a shop and i found out that it was running on one cylinder. I beleive that to be true it will go on a comp and we will find out what is real wrong. there is a metal sounding noise in the front cylinder and it gets louder as i throttle it... is this normal when its running on one cylinder or what? I just hope its not so bad that i have to get a totally new bike like the guy scared me by saying "yeah the engine would prolly be more then the bike, if you had to replace the motor. I have a 2004 xb12r with 7400. I just hope its fixable. |

I would say to troubleshoot the simple things if you can, electricity, and gas, because air is a given if one of the cylinders is firing. I just noticed the date on this post, is it resolved? |
